Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Inventory Controller to oversee and manage all stock‑holding departments at luxury lodges in Sabi Sands and Thabazimbi. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory data across multiple departments while ensuring audit readiness. ? Key Responsibilities Oversee daily stock movements across all lodge departments (Beverage, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Spa, Retail, First Aid, Stationery, Operational Equipment) Ensure SOP compliance and verify all inventory transactions (POs, GRNs, Transfers, Wastage, Credits, Issues/Consumption) Reconcile POS sales versus inventory depletion for Bar, Spa, and Retail outlets Investigate consumption discrepancies and enforce reconciliation before replenishment Validate transfers, wastage entries, and supplier credits for accuracy and authorisation Align purchasing requests with budgets, PAR levels, and ROP settings Oversee receiving, storage, FIFO rotation, expiry control, and storeroom integrity Lead cycle counts and month‑end stock counts, investigating variances thoroughly Compile month‑end reporting packs including variances, reconciliations, and usage patterns Maintain master data accuracy in inventory systems (MyStock/MyInventory/Sage) Ensure compliance with audit controls, separation of duties, and document trails Supervise Storeman and Administrator functions ✅ Minimum Requirements 2–4 years’ experience in hospitality inventory or multi‑department stock management Strong analytical and numerical skills Experience with MyStock/MyInventory/POS systems (TallOrder or similar) Ability to supervise inventory staff and ensure compliance Strong understanding of hospitality operations (F&B, Housekeeping, Spa, Retail, Operational Equipment) High accuracy, disciplined follow‑through, and collaborative mindset ✨ Ideal Candidate A proactive and detail‑driven inventory professional with strong systems knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to ensure seamless stock management across multiple luxury lodge departments. ? ?
