Role Overview: A senior HR leadership role responsible for driving strategic human resources management, staff development, and organisational culture within a luxury safari lodge environment. This position focuses on training, compliance, performance management, and employee wellbeing. ? Key Responsibilities: ? Learning & Development • Deliver and enhance the Lodge Training & Development Programme • Collaborate with external training providers and facilitators • Conduct skills gap analyses and contribute to long-term training strategy • Plan, coordinate, and monitor annual training programmes within budget • Develop internal learning resources and knowledge-sharing systems • Coordinate in-person, online, and outsourced training initiatives ? Human Resource Management • Manage full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, performance, exits) • Provide HR support and guidance to staff and management • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and HR best practices • Support line managers with policy implementation and staff development • Oversee performance appraisals and maintain employee records • Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture • Support employee wellbeing initiatives with relevant stakeholders • Liaise with external HR consultants and maintain HR documentation ? Requirements: • Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Skills Development, or related field • Minimum 5 years’ HR management experience, ideally in hospitality or lodge operations • Strong knowledge of HR legislation and employee relations • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills • Strategic mindset with strong focus on staff development and performance management • Ability to work in a remote luxury lodge environment ?
