Nestled within the scenic UNESCO-recognised Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, this exclusive luxury boutique lodge is preparing for its highly anticipated reopening in 2026. The property is currently undergoing an extensive redevelopment, including the construction of new guest suites and the complete rebuild of the main lodge. The redesigned facilities will feature a modern, thoughtfully curated layout, including a new kitchen, bar, dining area, and elegant guest spaces, all designed to support an elevated lodge experience blending refined hospitality, warm personalised service, and authentic safari moments. The lodge will accommodate up to twenty international guests, offering exclusive seven-night fixed-stay safari experiences arranged through its established European ownership and agency network. This role is centred on delivering beautifully presented, consistently well‑maintained guest rooms. The ideal candidate is detail‑orientated, takes pride in their work, and enjoys creating a welcoming environment for guests. A natural sense of presentation, care, and consistency is essential. Daily responsibilities include room servicing, deep cleaning, laundry, and maintaining the overall look and feel of guest areas. Spa therapy forms the secondary part of the role, and candidates should be confident in offering professional treatments that complement the guest experience. From time to time, you may also assist Front of House or Butler teams when needed, helping to protect and uphold the overall guest experience. Deliver consistently clean, beautifully presented guest rooms throughout each stay. Perform daily servicing, turn downs, deep cleans, and departure cleans to a high standard. Maintain room amenities, linen presentation, and overall guest comfort. Report maintenance issues promptly to keep rooms in excellent condition. Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all shared guest spaces (lounges, dining areas, walkways, office, etc.). Ensure all guest facing areas remain tidy, welcoming, and aligned with lodge standards. Support the wider team in preparing the lodge for arrivals, activities, and daily service. Support daily laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and linen rotation. Ensure guest linen is clean, fresh, and well presented. Monitor laundry supplies and report low stock when needed. Provide professional spa treatments as scheduled, ensuring a calm, relaxing experience for guests. Maintain spa equipment, cleanliness, and treatment space readiness. Assist with treatment bookings and communicating availability to the Operations Manager. Promote spa services and products to increase sales. Assist FOH or Butler teams during busy periods or unexpected situations to protect the guest experience. Support with simple service tasks such as clearing, resetting, or assisting during meal times when required. Maintain a positive, guest focused attitude when stepping into support roles. Assist with basic administrative tasks such as communication, simple record keeping, and stock checks. Use email, messaging, or basic computer systems where required. Communicate clearly with the Lodge Operations Manager regarding daily updates or needs. ???????????? / ??????? / ???? ????? Gross monthly salary, approx. R7, 000.00 neg. The lodge is located within approximately 30km of Vaalwater, reached via a mostly rugged gravel road - successful candidates must be able to arrange their own transport for days off and personal errands. This is a remote, on‑site living position with single accommodation; candidates must be comfortable living in a quiet, rural environment. Due to the nature of the accommodation and operational requirements: family, children and pets cannot be accommodated. Must have access to Whatsapp video / Zoom / Microsoft Teams for initial interviews. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in‑person interview at the property.
