Role Overview: Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Operations General Manager for a luxury boutique hotel and spa nestled in the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. This exciting leadership opportunity is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional with extensive luxury hotel experience, a passion for exceptional guest service, and a proven ability to lead multiple departments to operational excellence. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will oversee all day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences across accommodation, food and beverage, and culinary operations. ? Requirements: • Minimum 8 years' experience within the hospitality industry • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior hotel operations leadership role • Strong background in both Rooms Division and Food & Beverage operations • Previous experience within luxury boutique hotels, lodges, or premium hospitality environments • Proven leadership experience managing departmental heads and operational teams • Strong guest relations and service recovery skills • Excellent communication, leadership, and people management abilities • Solid understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest experience management • Ability to work flexible senior management hours as required by operations ? Key Responsibilities: • Lead the daily hotel operations across accommodation, food & beverage, and culinary departments • Drive service excellence and maintain exceptional luxury hospitality standards • Ensure effective communication and coordination between all departments • Monitor guest satisfaction, online reviews, and service performance metrics • Manage guest feedback and service recovery processes professionally and efficiently • Support and guide the Rooms Division Manager, Senior Restaurant Manager, and Executive Chef • Ensure exceptional standards across housekeeping, front office, guest services, and dining experiences • Lead, mentor, and develop departmental management teams • Drive accountability, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives • Monitor operational performance and report key metrics to the CEO • Ensure staffing levels and resources align with operational requirements ?
