As the hospitality general manager you will to lead and oversee multiple lodge operations. This senior role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader with strong hospitality, operational, and people-management expertise, capable of driving service excellence, financial performance, and team development across the portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and lodge management teams to ensure consistent standards, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and long-term sustainability of the hospitality product. Requirements · Proven experience in a senior hospitality leadership role within the safari or luxury lodge environment · Strong understanding of multi-lodge operations · Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting · Exceptional guest experience and service standards background · Strong leadership, mentoring, and people-development skills · Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability · Highly organised, solution-oriented, and able to work under pressure · Passion for conservation, sustainability, and the safari industry · Relevant hospitality or business qualification an advantage Key Responsibilities · Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to lodge management teams · Ensure consistent service standards and guest experience across all properties · Oversee operational performance, budgets, and cost control · Support and mentor Lodge Managers and senior departmental heads · Monitor compliance with SOPs, health & safety, and company policies · Drive continuous improvement in hospitality standards and operational efficiency · Liaise with owners, senior management, and support departments · Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management at management level · Ensure alignment between operations, reservations, sales, and marketing Package & Benefits · Competitive salary with live in benefits PLEASE NOTE – Although we appreciate all applications, we will only reply to those candidates who meet our clients specific requirements.
