? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is recruiting on behalf of a new Tanzanian destination management company specialising in luxury safari, mountain and island travel experiences, for an experienced and commercially driven ???????????? & ??????? ??????? Our client is an innovative, proudly Tanzanian travel company, based in Arusha, offering seamlessly coordinated luxury journeys that connect the world-renowned wildlife circuits of mainland Tanzania, the dramatic landscapes of Kilimanjaro, and the pristine beaches and historic allure of Zanzibar. Serving discerning international travellers, specialist travel agents and strategic partners, the business is built on a philosophy of operational excellence, genuine guest care and responsible tourism. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, ambitious company at its foundation and play a pivotal commercial role in shaping its growth. The successful candidate will establish and lead the company's commercial reservations function, working closely with senior leadership to design and cost tailor-made luxury itineraries across Tanzania and Zanzibar, develop competitive FIT and private travel products, and build strong relationships with lodges, camps, airlines, DMCs and tour operators. The role encompasses the full enquiry-to-confirmation workflow, revenue an d gross margin management, supplier negotiation, reservations systems oversight and comprehensive reporting. There is meaningful scope to recruit and develop a reservations team as the business scales. ???????????? • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience within the luxury safari, destination management or high-end inbound tourism sector • Proven experience designing and pricing tailor-made itineraries for the East African market, with strong knowledge of Tanzanian national parks, conservation regulations, park fees and guest logistics • Well-established network of industry contacts, including lodges, camps, DMCs, tour operators and international travel agents • Solid track record managing reservations and booking operations for a luxury operator or DMC, including complex, high-value, multi-destination enquiries • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategy, gross margin management and revenue forecasting • Experience negotiating supplier contracts and commercial rate agreements • Familiarity with reservations management systems and CRM platforms • Excellent written and spoken English; Kiswahili advantageous • Relevant tertiary qualification in tourism, hospitality management or business administration • Valid driver’s licence • Contactable professional and trade references essential ?????? – To be confirmed ?????????? – Permanent ????? – To be confirmed ➡️ ?????? ???? – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
