Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head of Operations for a luxury boutique hotel in Constantia, Western Cape.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent operational knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the property, ensuring smooth and efficient departmental performance.

Lead, motivate and manage departmental teams to maintain exceptional service standards.

Monitor operational budgets, control costs and drive profitability.

Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and hospitality standards.

Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and handle escalated guest concerns professionally.

Work closely with management to implement operational strategies and improve performance.

Monitor staff performance, support training and development, and promote a positive working environment.

Ensure the property is consistently maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements:

Proven experience in a senior operational management role within a luxury hotel or boutique hospitality environment.

Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent financial management and cost-control abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

A hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple departments effectively.

A strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest service excellence.
