Job Requirements Formal culinary qualification with a minimum of 2 years' management experience, preferably within a 5-star lodge, hotel, or hospitality environment. Proven ability to lead, mentor, train, and develop kitchen teams and aspiring chefs. Overall responsibility for guest and staff food standards, ensuring exceptional Cuisine quality and presentation. Design and implement seasonal menus based on guest preferences and available produce. Maintain excellent stock control, ordering procedures, stock rotation, and food cost management. Ensure kitchen hygiene standards, staff administration, scheduling, and compliance are consistently maintained. Oversee proactive maintenance of kitchen equipment. Conduct regular communication with chefs, department heads, lodge management, and suppliers. Personally engage with guests, obtain feedback, and accommodate special dietary requirements. Strong leadership and people-management skills within a luxury Hospitality environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure. Strong computer literacy and administrative capability. Sound knowledge of lodge operations, housekeeping, laundry, and guest service standards.
