Key Responsibilities Oversee standards of guest and staff food, ensuring consistency and excellence Implement kitchen standards and conduct regular visits to staff kitchen and canteen Develop and train chefs and trainees, fostering growth and promotion opportunities Manage departmental administration (staff files, schedules, hygiene standards) Create seasonal menus based on guest profiles and available produce Ensure presentation aligns with lodge food identity and styling guide Drive innovation and elevate the food product to the next level Maintain excellent stock controls, ordering processes, and equipment maintenance Communicate regularly with chefs, lodge management, suppliers, and other departments Interact with guests, build relationships, and respond to feedback Ensure awareness of dietary requirements for both guests and staff Uphold discipline, fairness, and role‑model leadership within the kitchen ✅ Minimum Requirements Formal culinary qualification Minimum 2 years’ management experience, ideally in a 5‑star operation Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health standards Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Guest‑focused; positive outlook, and committed team player Computer literacy (Microsoft Suite and kitchen systems) ✨ Key Skills & Competencies Passion for food and creating memorable dining experiences Strong leadership and management skills Ability to motivate and inspire staff Creative; innovative, and detail‑oriented approach Knowledge of hospitality operations including butler service, housekeeping, and laundry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bright; enthusiastic, and professional presentation ? ?
