In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing all offshore IT activities related to ERP implementations and support operations across multiple business units. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the value and reputation of the Global Shared Services (GSC) function.

Responsibilities: 

Delivery Management: 

• Lead service delivery for ERP implementations and ongoing support operations.
• Establish and take ownership of development processes, operations, SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned to ERP services.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality and business expectations.
• Drive operational efficiency and maximize team productivity.
• Implement and maintain processes, standards, best practices, and security measures to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and develop contingency plans where required.
• Conduct regular project reviews and ensure compliance with internal processes and governance.
• Develop and govern Technical Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Establish business continuity plans and implement succession planning to ensure critical skills are adequately backed up.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders by understanding their business needs and ensuring project outcomes align with expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery escalations and resolve issues effectively.
• Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and implementation/support teams.

• Recruit, coach, mentor, motivate, and retain high-performing IT professionals.
• Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify development opportunities for team members.
• Build and strengthen in-house SAP capabilities through structured upskilling and career development initiatives.
• Support team members in advancing their technical expertise and progressing to the next level in their careers.

Requirements: 

• 15+ years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 10 years' experience working with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 across multiple disciplines and functional areas.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Project Manager, leading SAP/ERP implementation and support projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple SAP and Dynamics 365 implementation and support initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of SAP modules, including:

  • WM
  • SD
  • IBP
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities.
• Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to stay current with the latest SAP and Dynamics 365 releases, features, and industry trends.
• Experience establishing and governing Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience working within a global organisation, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
