Job Summary
Luxury Hotel Group requires a hands-on Group Revenue Manager. The position will be based at the client’s regional offices in the CPT City Bowl region. The successful candidate will be a commercially astute, data-driven Group Revenue Manager to lead revenue optimization, distribution strategy, and Central Reservations Office (CRO) performance across our national portfolio. As a senior management role reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for driving RevPAR growth, forecast accuracy, pricing governance, and Transactional Excellence across all properties. You will act as the custodian of pricing accuracy, speed of response, and conversion performance, combining high-level strategy with operational precision. Key Responsibilities Yield & Pricing Strategy: Design and execute multi-property yield strategies while embedding strict pricing discipline and commercial governance group-wide. CRO Leadership: Lead, optimize, and manage the Central Reservations Office (CRO) to drive operational efficiency. Transactional Excellence: Improve booking conversion ratios, optimize quoting turnaround standards, and ensure maximum speed and accuracy of response. Distribution Management: Oversee and maximize performance across all distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct channels. Forecasting & Analytics: Deliver accurate financial forecasting, market analysis, and comprehensive performance reporting across the national portfolio. Team Mentorship: Train, mentor, and develop on-site Revenue Managers, Revenue Analysts, and the central Reservations teams. Market Knowledge: Proven experience operating within the South African hospitality market. Core Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in distribution channels and direct oversight of a Central Reservations Office (CRO). Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of accurate forecasting. Leadership: A commercial leadership mindset with the ability to train and mentor diverse teams. Attributes: High attention to detail, strict system discipline, and the ability to protect profit margins while driving growth.
