Job Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Temporary Administrator to assist with a CRM migration/data capturing project. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing, transferring, validating, and maintaining customer/business information within the company’s new CRM system.
This role requires someone who is highly meticulous, comfortable working with large volumes of data, and able to ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the migration process.
Key Responsibilities Data Capturing & Migration
- Capture large volumes of customer, supplier, and business-related information into the new CRM system
- Transfer data from spreadsheets, legacy systems, documents, and other databases into the CRM platform
- Ensure all records are accurately uploaded and categorized correctly
- Identify duplicate records and clean data where necessary
- Verify that all mandatory fields are completed correctly during data entry
- Maintain consistency in formatting and record keeping
Data Validation & Quality Assurance
- Review imported data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Conduct quality checks to ensure no missing, duplicated, or incorrect information is loaded
- Correct any errors identified during the migration process
- Flag inconsistencies or missing information to management
Administrative Support
- Organize digital files and documentation related to the CRM project
- Assist with updating records and maintaining administrative reports
- Provide general administrative support to the project team when required
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and business information
Reporting
- Track progress of data capturing tasks
- Provide regular updates to management on completed uploads and outstanding records
- Report system issues or concerns encountered during data migration
- Take initiative and inform management on any issues and missing documents
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Relevant administrative qualification (advantageous)
- Previous experience in administration, data capturing, or data migration roles
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar) is advantageous
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Fast and accurate typing/data entry skills
- Strong administrative background preferred
