This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a hospitality professional with extensive luxury safari lodge experience, strong operational expertise, and a passion for delivering world-class guest experiences. The successful candidate will oversee every aspect of the camp's operations while leading and developing a high-performing team in a remote wilderness environment. Key Requirements Minimum of 5–7 years' experience as a General Manager within a luxury safari lodge or camp. Proven leadership experience managing multiple operational departments. Strong financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills. Exceptional guest relations and hosting abilities. Experience in staff training, mentoring, and performance management. Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage and Rooms Division operations. Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a remote bush environment. Hospitality qualification is advantageous. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the luxury safari camp. Deliver exceptional guest experiences through personalised and intuitive hospitality. Lead; mentor, and develop departmental managers and operational teams. Manage budgets, stock control, financial performance, and operational efficiencies. Ensure the highest standards across accommodation, Food & Beverage, housekeeping, and guest services. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and company policies. Monitor guest satisfaction and implement continuous service improvements. Work closely with guiding and support teams to deliver seamless safari experiences. Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture. Prepare operational reports and contribute to the achievement of strategic business objectives. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess: A genuine passion for luxury safari hospitality.
