General Management Couple | Luxury Safari Lodge | Namibia Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced General Management Couple to lead operations across a prestigious luxury safari collection in Namibia. This hands-on, live-in role is ideal for a dynamic couple with extensive luxury safari and hospitality management experience, capable of overseeing multiple lodge operations while maintaining the highest service and operational standards. Minimum Requirements: • Minimum 7 years’ senior management experience in luxury safari lodges or high-end tourism operations • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field • Strong financial, strategic, and operational management expertise • Proven experience in staff training, leadership, and development • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and computer literacy skills • Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous • Deep understanding of personalised luxury service standards • Professional, reliable, and well-presented • Ability to work long and flexible hours in remote, high-pressure environments • Valid driver’s licence and Professional Driving Permit (PDP) Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership • Oversee and manage all lodge operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery across multiple camps • Support and guide Camp Managers and departmental teams to maintain operational excellence • Manage front-of-house operations, guest interactions, and logistics of safari activities Team Development & Leadership • Implement staff training, mentorship, and performance development programs • Foster a positive, motivated, and disciplined team culture • Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professionalism and accountability Financial & Administrative Management • Prepare and manage budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting • Analyse operational and financial performance to support strategic decision-making • Implement and maintain company and lodge operational standards Guest Experience & Continuous Improvement • Ensure consistently high service standards and personalised luxury experiences • Address and resolve guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery • Analyse guest insights to implement continuous improvement strategies • Collaborate with guiding and operations teams to optimise safari and lodge experiences Package & Benefits: • Salary: Negotiable DOE • Live-in, furnished accommodation • Utilities included (gas, water, electricity) • Housekeeping services provided • Company vehicle usage • Uniforms provided • DSTV and Wi-Fi (subject to availability) • Flights to/from Windhoek (subject to availability) • Medical evacuation cover and accident medical insurance • Subsidised lodge rates • Pension and medical aid options This is a rare opportunity for a couple who are highly experienced, hands-on, and passionate about luxury safari hospitality, to lead and elevate a world-class lodge collection in Namibia.
