? Front of House Manager | Luxury Lodge | Northern KwaZulu-Natal ? Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Front of House Manager to join a luxury lodge in Northern KwaZulu-Natal. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong operational experience who can confidently oversee daily lodge operations and step into the General Manager's role during leave cycles. ? Package & Benefits ? Salary: R15,000 per month inclusive of accommodation (Negotiable DOE) ?️ Food Allowance: R1,500 per month ? Location: Northern KwaZulu-Natal ? Live-in Position with accommodation provided ? Key Responsibilities • Take full ownership of daily lodge operations during shifts • Manage guest arrivals, departures, hosting, reservations, and billing procedures • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain luxury hospitality standards • Supervise and support staff across Front of House, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping departments • Oversee housekeeping standards and lodge presentation • Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory administration • Handle general lodge administration and reporting duties • Foster strong communication between departments to ensure seamless operations • Address guest requests, feedback, and concerns professionally and efficiently • Relieve the General Manager during leave cycles, assuming full operational responsibility for the lodge • Ensure compliance with lodge policies, procedures, and service standards ✅ Minimum Requirements • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Front of House Manager or Duty Manager within a 4 or 5-star lodge environment (essential) • Proven luxury lodge hosting and guest relations experience • Well-rounded operational experience across Front of House, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Guest Relations • Experience with general administration, stock control, and ordering procedures • Fully computer literate • Valid driver's licence essential • Ability to take full responsibility for lodge operations when relieving the General Manager • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities • Professional presentation and excellent communication skills • Stable employment history with contactable references ✨ Ideal Candidate A mature, trustworthy, and hands-on hospitality professional who thrives in a luxury lodge environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about guest satisfaction, confident in managing multiple departments, and capable of leading a team while maintaining the highest standards of service and operational excellence. ? Additional Information • Comfortable living and working in a remote bush environment • Own vehicle not required, provided the successful candidate can travel to and from the reserve when necessary
