Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate couple for a luxury safari lodge on a private reserve near Hoedspruit. This opportunity would suit a hospitality-focused Front of House/Reservations candidate together with an experienced Guide/ Ranger looking to join a professional and guest-focused lodge team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on couple who enjoy lodge life, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and working within a close-knit hospitality environment. Front of House & Reservations The successful candidate will be responsible for managing reservations, guest communication, and front-of-house operations while ensuring a warm, welcoming, and seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities Managing guest reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms Processing bookings, amendments, and cancellations accurately Maintaining up-to-date reservation records and guest information Coordinating guest arrivals and departures Welcoming and assisting guests during check-in and throughout their stay Providing information on lodge facilities, activities, and services Liaising with housekeeping, guiding, and operations teams to ensure smooth guest experiences Handling guest requests and resolving queries professionally Performing general front desk and administrative duties Maintaining high levels of guest service and attention to detail Requirements Previous hospitality or lodge experience advantageous Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent communication and guest interaction abilities Friendly; professional, and well-presented demeanour Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Good computer literacy and reservations experience beneficial Guide / Ranger The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional safari experiences through game drives, bush walks, and guest hosting while assisting with the overall smooth running of the lodge operation. Requirements FGASA Level 1 or Level 2 Valid PDP Valid First Aid certification Rifle competency and advanced rifle handling Experience conducting bush walks and game drives Strong hosting and guest interaction skills Basic vehicle and camp maintenance knowledge Passion for conservation, wildlife, and guest experiences Positive; team-oriented attitude Package Market-related salary negotiable depending on experience and qualifications Live-in position Meals on duty Opportunity to work within a professional luxury lodge environment Please note that due to the remote nature of lodge life, both candidates should be adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable living and working on-site.
