Procurement Manager – Luxury Hotel | Cape Town We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team at a leading luxury lifestyle hotel in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a procurement professional with a strong hospitality background who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and understands the importance of quality, cost control, and supplier relationships within the hotel industry. Key Responsibilities Manage the full procurement function for the hotel, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service level agreements with suppliers and service providers Ensure timely procurement of all hotel operational requirements, including food & beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest amenities Maintain optimal stock levels while controlling costs and minimizing waste Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality standards are consistently met Work closely with department heads to forecast purchasing needs and budgets Ensure procurement practices comply with company policies and relevant regulations Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and inventory tracking documentation Minimum Requirements Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related qualification Minimum 3–5 years’ procurement experience within the hotel or hospitality industry Strong understanding of hospitality procurement processes and supplier networks Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers and deadlines effectively Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office Strong communication and interpersonal skills Advantageous Experience within a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment Knowledge of inventory and stock control systems Existing supplier relationships within the Cape Town hospitality market If you meet the above requirements and are passionate about hospitality procurement excellence, we would love to hear from you.
