Floor Managers | JHB | Premium Hospitality Group An expanding hospitality group is seeking high-energy, professional FLOOR MANAGERS to join their teams in Bryanston and Parkhurst . The group requires leaders who thrive in high-volume, premium environments and are committed to maintaining world-class service standards. The Role The Floor Manager is the heartbeat of the restaurant during service. This role requires a constant presence on the floor, overseeing the flow of the dining room, coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house, and ensuring every guest receives attentive, personalized service. It is a hands-on leadership position focused on operational fluidity and staff performance. Key Responsibilities Service Leadership: Lead the floor team during busy shifts to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Staff Coordination: Supervise waitstaff, runners, and hostesses, ensuring all sections are managed efficiently. Guest Experience: Handle guest inquiries and feedback in real-time with professionalism and a "guest-first" attitude. Operational Standards: Enforce strict adherence to grooming, service protocols, and health and safety regulations. Opening/Closing: Manage daily opening and closing procedures, including cash-ups and shift handovers. Training: Assist in the ongoing coaching and development of the floor team to maintain high service standards. Candidate Requirements Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or floor management role within a high-turnover, premium restaurant. Skill Set: Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. Passion for Hospitality: A deep understanding of premium service etiquette, specifically within Steakhouse or Mediterranean dining styles. Technical Proficiency: Competence in point-of-sale systems (e.g., Gaap, Micros) and table management software.
