Financial Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | Sabi Sand (Hybrid/Remote) Salary: DOE Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Manager for a luxury safari lodge in Sabi Sand. This hybrid live-out role offers the opportunity to work both remotely and on property during the week, playing a pivotal role in ensuring financial excellence while supporting exceptional guest experiences. Minimum Requirements: • Apply Below degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field • Minimum 5 years’ finance experience, with at least 2 years within the hospitality sector • Advanced proficiency in MS Office • Experience with Sage Software (Intacct preferred) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders Key Responsibilities: Financial Operations & Controls • Oversee all property finance functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group SOPs • Review and approve purchase orders in line with budgets • Manage cash flow, petty cash, and credit card reconciliations • Validate daily revenue submissions and ensure accurate reporting • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers and operating equipment assets • Oversee inventory management, variance recounts, and control systems Budgeting; Reporting & Analysis • Drive and manage the annual property budget process in collaboration with department heads • Prepare and analyse management accounts, providing variance analysis and insights • Produce flash and project reports to support decision-making • Assist with pricing of extras and ancillary services Audit; Compliance & Internal Controls • Ensure robust internal controls are implemented and maintained • Assist with annual external audits and ensure documentation is audit-ready Collaboration & Stakeholder Management • Act as the key finance liaison between property and support office • Work closely with HR on gratuities, staff deductions, and payroll-related matters • Provide financial guidance and support to operational teams Personal Attributes: • Excellent attention to detail • Strong guest-focused mindset • Honest and clear communicator • Positive, collaborative team player • Excellent time management and self-discipline • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-driven • Able to work accurately under pressure • Open to feedback and continuous improvement Salary: Negotiable DOE | Hybrid Live-Out Role This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking a structured hybrid role within a luxury lodge environment, where operational excellence and guest experience go hand in hand.
