Position Details: ? Role: Field Guide Trainer ? Location: Limpopo (near Hoedspruit) ? Salary: R20,000 – R35,000 per month (based on experience & qualifications) ? Start Date: ASAP ? Work Cycle: 4 weeks on, 1 week off / 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off ✨ What You’ll Be Doing: As a Field Guide Trainer, you’ll be coaching and inspiring future guides through practical and theoretical training. Your role includes: ? Training & Mentorship ✅ Conducting classroom-based lectures and interactive tutorials ✅ Leading game drives & guided bush walks to provide hands-on training ✅ Ensuring students develop strong practical skills & industry knowledge ? Programme & Safety Management ✅ Overseeing student outings, logistics, and safety protocols ✅ Maintaining high training standards and programme structure ✅ Assisting in social media marketing, campus management & admin ? Innovation & Development ✅ Supporting the development of online courses & training materials ✅ Continuously improving training methods to enhance student experience ? What You Need to Qualify: We’re looking for experienced, enthusiastic mentors with a strong guiding and training background: ✅ CATHSSETA NQF4 Certification ✅ VPDA Certification ✅ SASSETA Rifle Proficiency (PFTC) ✅ Valid Driver’s License & PrDP ✅ First Aid Certification ✅ DEAT Registration & SAPS Competency Certificate ✅ Extensive 4x4 driving experience ✅ Minimum 5 years’ experience guiding at a luxury lodge ✅ Excellent communication, mentoring & interpersonal skills ✅ Fluent in English (spoken & written) ✅ Strong organizational & presentation skills ✅ Computer proficiency ?
