Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years in a sales environment, with a proven track record in new business development and relationship management.
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential; a Certificate or Diploma in Sales or Marketing is highly preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Word and Excel) and experience using CRM platforms.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport to the company offices in Alrode, Alberton are essential (a company vehicle is provided for site visits).
- Well-presented, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Actively identify and prospect new business opportunities through cold-calling, canvassing, and networking.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with new and existing clients to ensure a robust sales pipeline.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct professional client visits and high-level presentations to demonstrate the value of the specialised product range.
- Sales Lifecycle Management: Manage leads from initial contact through to closing, ensuring consistent follow-up and service excellence.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate records within the CRM system, manage diaries/appointments, and provide detailed daily activity reports.
- National Travel: Travel throughout South Africa to identify and secure national business opportunities.
