This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to lead the housekeeping department and ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort throughout the property. The successful candidate will oversee all housekeeping operations while leading and developing a high-performing team committed to service excellence. Key Requirements Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper within a luxury lodge or hotel. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent knowledge of housekeeping operations and luxury service standards. Experience with stock control, budgeting, and departmental administration. Strong organisational and planning abilities. Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day housekeeping operations. Lead; train, mentor, and develop the housekeeping team. Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the property. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. Manage housekeeping stock, linen, amenities, and inventory. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Manage departmental budgets, stock control, and inventory processes. Work closely with other operational departments to deliver seamless guest experiences. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess: A genuine passion for luxury hospitality. A hands-on leadership style with exceptional attention to detail. Strong organisational skills and a service-driven approach. Excellent mentoring and team development abilities. A calm, professional, and solution-focused mindset. A commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences and maintaining the highest housekeeping standards. Package Salary: R30,000 – R35,000 per month (DOE). Live-in accommodation provided. Meals on duty. Work cycle: 3 Weeks On / 1 Week Off. Optional medical aid contribution.
