Executive Chef | Luxury Safari Lodge | Zambia Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef for a luxury safari lodge based in Zambia. This role is ideal for a creative and highly organised culinary professional who thrives in a remote, high-end lodge environment and is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities · Plan, design, and execute high-quality menus in line with lodge standards and guest expectations · Manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and stock control · Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to maintain consistently high standards · Manage food costing, stock ordering, and waste control to ensure profitability · Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations · Accommodate dietary requirements and special guest requests · Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment Requirements · Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Chef in a luxury lodge, safari lodge, or high-end hospitality environment · Formal culinary qualification · Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills · Proven experience in menu planning, cost control, and stock management · Ability to work under pressure in a remote lodge environment · Passion for fine dining and guest satisfaction Package · Salary: Negotiable depending on experience · Live-in accommodation · Opportunity to work in a prestigious luxury safari lodge in Zambia To Apply To apply for the Operations Manager role, please submit your CV, contactable references, and a recent head & shoulders photo Please note: Due to high application volumes, only candidates meeting the requirements will be contacted.
