Duty Manager – Luxury Private Camp | Plettenberg Bay Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Duty Manager for a luxury private camp in Plettenberg Bay. This live-in role offers the opportunity to oversee daily lodge operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Requirements: · Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a lodge, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment · Strong leadership and team management skills · Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities · Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations · High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Hands-on, proactive, and flexible approach to operational challenges Key Responsibilities: · Oversee daily lodge operations during assigned shifts · Supervise, support, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service · Ensure guest satisfaction and handle queries or complaints professionally · Maintain operational standards across all departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Maintenance · Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards · Monitor and manage stock usage and report shortages or maintenance issues · Assist with staff training and development initiatives · Maintain clear communication with lodge management regarding operations, guest feedback, and issues requiring attention Package: · Salary: R16,000 Negotiable DOE · Accommodation: Live-in provided To apply, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo Please note: Only candidates meeting the listed requirements will be contacted.
