Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef for a luxury boutique hotel in Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain exceptional culinary standards.

Create innovative menus that reflect the hotel's quality and style.

Manage food costing, stock control and kitchen budgets.

Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team.

Ensure consistent food quality, presentation and portion control.

Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.

Manage kitchen operations efficiently while controlling costs.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef within a luxury hotel or fine-dining establishment.

Strong leadership, communication and kitchen management skills.

Excellent menu planning and culinary expertise.

Sound knowledge of food costing, stock control and budgeting.

The ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.

A passion for quality, creativity and guest satisfaction.
Salary: R30,000 – R40,000 per month, depending on experience.
