Chef de Partie - Newly Opened Luxury Safari Lodge - Greater Kruger, Limpopo Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a skilled, enthusiastic and detail-driven Chef de Partie for an intimate, newly opened ultra-luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger, Limpopo - part of a globally recognised international hospitality group with over a century of culinary and service heritage, now making its debut in the South African safari market. With an intimate guest complement and a culinary offering built around regional African cuisine and fine dining traditions, this kitchen operates to the very highest standard. Every detail matters. Minimum Requirements: Formal culinary qualification from a recognised institution - advantageous Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie in a 5-star lodge Strong all-round culinary skills across multiple sections Genuine passion for food, presentation and locally inspired cuisine Working knowledge of food costing, stock rotation, wastage control and kitchen hygiene Full HACCP compliance and food safety knowledge A team player with a positive, hands-on attitude Reliable; detail-oriented and eager to learn and grow Comfortable living and working in a remote, live-in bush environment Stable work history with contactable references Food portfolio advantageous Key Responsibilities: Prepare and execute dishes to the highest standard across all meal services Manage and maintain the allocated section with precision, consistency and cleanliness Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily food production and menu execution Contribute to special bush dining experiences, sundowner setups and private dining events Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times Assist with stock control, FIFO rotation and waste reduction within the section Support and contribute positively to a small, close-knit kitchen team Grow into increased responsibility as the property and team develop Package: Market-related salary commensurate with experience Live-in: Accommodation and meals provided Standard lodge benefits Should you feel you are the right fit for this role, please apply with your updated CV, a food portfolio, contactable references and a recent head and shoulders photo ASAP! ?
