Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Own and oversee the company’s regulatory, legal, and compliance landscape, independently managing complex issues and maintaining visibility across licenses, filings, obligations, disputes, and deadlines.

• Coordinate with internal teams—Finance, Credit, Product, and Commercial—and external advisers to develop integrated, decision-ready recommendations and implementation strategies.

• Develop and embed systems, templates, and standards for regulatory correspondence, risk assessments, and new-market reviews, ensuring proactive legal and regulatory input in product, pricing, and partnership decisions.

• Lead the compliance programme across key areas such as AML/KYC, sanctions, anti-bribery & corruption, data protection & privacy, cybersecurity, conflicts, and third-party risks, establishing clear ownership, frameworks, and escalation procedures.

• Drive regulatory, legal, and compliance readiness assessments for potential markets targeted for expansion in 2027, and provide comprehensive reports to leadership and the board on risks and recommended actions.

Duties:

• Manage complex legal and regulatory compliance matters with minimal oversight.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external experts on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues.

• Create and maintain systems, templates, and standards for regulatory processes.

• Oversee comprehensive compliance programs in multiple risk domains.

• Lead market readiness assessments and communicate findings to executive leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in legal, regulatory, or compliance roles.

• Strong understanding of regulatory filings, compliance frameworks, and assessment methodologies.

• Proven management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
