Our client is an ultra-luxury, exclusive-use safari lodge set within a private reserve near Hoedspruit, offering a highly personalised safari experience for discerning guests. Designed as a private safari residence rather than a traditional lodge, this property offers complete exclusivity, tailored service, exceptional food and beverage experiences, private guiding, and a strong focus on detail, discretion and guest comfort. We are currently looking for a professional and guest-focused Butler to join this exclusive-use luxury safari lodge. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a 5-star lodge, boutique hotel, private residence or luxury hospitality environment, with a natural ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver polished, discreet service. Key Responsibilities: Provide personalised butler service to guests throughout their stay Assist with guest arrivals, rooming, unpacking, packing and departure preparations Serve meals, drinks, snacks, teas, coffees and sundowners as required Maintain excellent guest-facing service standards at all times Assist with room checks, turndowns and guest amenities Support the F&B team with table settings, service preparation and hosting Assist with special requests, private dining setups and lodge experiences Ensure guest areas are neat, prepared and beautifully presented Communicate guest preferences and requirements clearly to the wider team Assist with transfers and driving duties when required Work closely with housekeeping, kitchen and lodge management to ensure a seamless guest experience Requirements: Previous experience as a Butler or similar in a luxury hospitality role Valid driver’s licence essential Strong food and beverage service knowledge Excellent communication and guest interaction skills Well-presented; professional and discreet High attention to detail Flexible; hands-on and willing to assist across departments Able to work well in a small, close-knit team Calm under pressure and highly service-orientated
