A pioneering large-scale hydroponic blueberry producer is seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager to lead production operations at its farm in Namibia.

• Lead and manage all farm production activities from pre-planting through to harvest.

• Oversee land preparation, planting, crop care and harvesting operations.

• Manage irrigation, fertigation, netting and post-harvest infrastructure.

• Ensure optimal productivity, quality and yield performance across all production blocks.

• Lead, manage and develop supervisors, permanent staff and seasonal labour teams.

• Support production budgeting, labour planning and resource allocation.

• Monitor operational performance using farm management systems and digital tools.

• Analyse production data to identify risks and improve efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with Global GAP, SMETA, food safety and hygiene standards.

• Drive sustainable farming practices, including water management and responsible input usage.

• Coordinate suppliers, contractors and service providers to ensure efficient delivery.

• Work closely with agronomy, ESG, technology and post-harvest teams.

• Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy or related field.

• 5–10 years’ experience in commercial blueberry production or similar agricultural operations.

• Strong operational leadership and team management experience.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

• Strong planning, problem-solving and decision-making ability.

• Good understanding of modern farming systems and precision agriculture.

• Experience in hydroponics or protected cropping will be advantageous.

• Fluent in English.

• Willingness to relocate to Namibia.
