What could you be doing?

As an After Hours Care Operations Coordinator, you may play an important role in keeping home care services running smoothly outside regular business hours.

You'll help manage unexpected scheduling changes, respond to caregiver and client concerns, and ensure continuity of care when challenges arise.

Responsibilities may include:

• Managing caregiver call-outs, cancellations, late arrivals and missed visits.
  

• Coordinating replacement caregivers and arranging coverage for open shifts.
  

• Monitoring schedules and ensuring scheduled visits are appropriately followed up.
  

• Communicating professionally with caregivers, clients, families and operational teams.
  

• Responding to urgent operational situations and identifying practical solutions.
  

• Assessing issues, making appropriate decisions and escalating matters when necessary.
  

• Maintaining accurate records of incidents, scheduling changes and communications.
  

• Providing clear and detailed shift handovers to ensure continuity between teams.
  

• Supporting smooth day-to-day operations during evenings, overnight shifts, weekends or other after-hours periods.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in operations, scheduling, coordination, customer service, healthcare administration or a similar fast-paced environment.
  

• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
  

• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  

• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  

• Confidence working independently, taking initiative and making decisions within established procedures.
  

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to unexpected operational challenges.
  

• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
  

• Tech-savvy and comfortable working across multiple digital systems and platforms.
  

• Experience with electronic healthcare systems, home care software, scheduling platforms or care management systems would be highly advantageous.
  

• Experience supporting US or Canadian home care operations would be an advantage.
  

• Reliable computer equipment and stable internet connectivity suitable for remote work.
  

• Willingness to work non-traditional hours aligned with US or Canadian operations, which may include evenings, overnight shifts and weekends.
