Back of House (BOH) Manager – Upscale Restaurant, Kampala, Uganda Salary: USD $2,000 (net) Package: Full Expatriate Package Included We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Back of House Manager to join an upscale, high-volume restaurant in Kampala, Uganda. The ideal candidate has a strong background in premium or fine-dining establishments and is skilled in kitchen operations leadership, culinary team management, food safety, and cost control. Responsibilities -Oversee all back-of-house operations, ensuring seamless kitchen performance. -Lead; train, and mentor culinary staff to maintain high-quality standards. -Manage inventory, ordering, cost control, and supplier relationships. -Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. -Develop and enforce BOH systems, SOPs, and workflows for maximum productivity. Requirements -Minimum 3 years’ experience in BOH management within an upscale or fine-dining environment. -Strong leadership, communication, and multicultural team-management skills. -Expertise in food safety standards, kitchen operations, and cost management. -Experience working abroad or in diverse international environments is a plus. -Ability to relocate to Uganda.
