Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Lodge Manager to join a luxury lodge in the beautiful Klaserie, Mpumalanga. This live-in opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest experiences, lodge operations, and leading a team while maintaining the highest standards of service. ? Package & Benefits ? Salary: R18,000 per month (Depending on Experience) ? Location: Klaserie, Mpumalanga ? Live-in Position ? Key Responsibilities • Assist with the day-to-day management and smooth operation of the lodge • Ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival through to departure • Support Front of House operations, guest relations, and lodge administration • Oversee daily lodge activities and assist with departmental coordination • Manage guest requests, feedback, and special requirements professionally • Assist with staff supervision, training, and performance management • Support stock control, procurement, and inventory management processes • Ensure lodge standards, policies, and procedures are consistently maintained • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, and guiding teams to ensure seamless operations • Assist with reporting, scheduling, and operational planning ✅ Minimum Requirements • Previous experience in a lodge management, assistant lodge management, or hospitality supervisory role • Strong administrative and organisational skills essential • Excellent guest relations and communication abilities • Experience with reservations systems and general lodge administration advantageous • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment • Professional presentation and leadership skills • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences • Valid driver's licence advantageous ✨ Ideal Candidate A hands-on, organised, and guest-focused hospitality professional with strong administrative abilities and a passion for luxury lodge operations.
