Assistant Boutique & Art Gallery Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | Kruger National Park Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and polished Assistant Boutique & Art Gallery Manager for a luxury safari lodge in the Kruger National Park. This guest-facing retail role is ideal for a candidate with flair, a strong eye for detail, and a passion for high-end products and personalised service. The successful candidate will be well-presented, articulate, and genuinely enjoy engaging with guests. The role supports the lodge’s retail operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, effective sales performance, and smooth management of inventory and visual merchandising standards. Minimum Requirements: • Boutique or luxury retail experience essential • Previous luxury safari lodge experience highly advantageous • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high service standards • Confident communicator in written and spoken English, professional and guest-focused • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office essential; accounting system experience advantageous) • Enthusiastic, presentable, and passionate about retail, design, and guest interaction Key Responsibilities: • Deliver exceptional guest service through personalised product recommendations and efficient service recovery • Maintain strong product knowledge and confidently advise guests on luxury items, art pieces, and retail trends • Support sales growth by meeting targets, identifying opportunities, and actively driving revenue • Assist with stock control and inventory processes, ensuring seamless guest transactions and accurate product handling • Support visual merchandising standards to ensure the boutique is beautifully styled and aligned with luxury brand presentation • Communicate effectively with lodge departments to ensure guest requests are actioned smoothly • Promote the lodge’s conservation message and purpose through positive guest engagement Salary: DOE + Sales Incentives | Live-in Position | Working Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented hospitality professional seeking a structured live-in role within a luxury safari lodge environment.
