HAIR STYLIST
SOMERSET WEST - Western-Cape (ZA)
START: 01 June 2026
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS
- Monday to Friday 09:00am - 18:00pm
- Saturday 09:00am - 17:00pm
- Sundays & Public Holidays 09:00am - 15:00pm
- 7 days OFF per month including a weekend
- Birthdays are OFF (above standard off days)
REPORT TO: Manager / Salon Owner
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R7,000 - R10,000+ Basic Salary per month (based on relevant experience)
- Targeted Commission - Sliding Scale (3% - 12%)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified Hair Styling or Cosmetology
- Trade-Certified - BONUS
- At least 3+ years experience in a high-end salon, spa or ship environment
- Cut, Colour and Style confident
- Able to style male & female clients
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Blow dries
- Cutting + restyle cuts
- Highlights
- Tints
- Straightening treatments (we use Mycro keratin)
- Perms
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Able to assist multiple clients simultaneously
- Retail confident, comfortable with recommendations
- Comfortable with client education
- Confidently re-book clients
- Strong team-dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
