Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems – Essential
- Master’s Degree in IT / Technology Management – Advantageous
- 8 – 10 years’ experience in an IT Management / Leadership role – Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing IT teams – Essential
- Experience in Agile, Digital, or Data transformation environments – Advantageous
- Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations
- Knowledge of cloud computing, AI, IoT, and emerging technologies
- Strong understanding of ITIL service management principles
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Strong business and financial acumen
Responsibilities:
IT Strategy and Architecture
- Develop and execute IT strategy aligned to business objectives
- Define IT operating models and technology roadmaps
- Drive digital transformation and innovation initiatives
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies
- Design and oversee solution architecture and system integration
Project and Programme Management
- Lead IT projects from concept through implementation
- Develop business cases and funding proposals
- Manage programme delivery, timelines, and quality standards
- Facilitate workshops for solution design and estimation
Infrastructure, Systems and Operations
- Oversee IT infrastructure, applications, and platform stability
- Ensure service delivery meets SLA requirements
- Implement IT service management best practices
- Monitor system performance and reliability
Cybersecurity and Risk Management
- Implement cybersecurity controls and data protection measures
- Manage IT risk and governance frameworks
- Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence
- Investigate and resolve security incidents
Leadership and People Management
- Lead and develop high-performance IT teams
- Drive talent acquisition and succession planning
- Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Manage performance and workforce planning
Financial Management
- Develop and manage IT budgets
- Monitor expenditure and optimise technology investments

Stakeholder and Client Management
