Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Lead the Electrical and Instrumentation teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
- Manage maintenance and asset reliability programs to maximize plant availability and equipment performance.
- Ensure the continuity and reliability of power generation, steam production, process control systems, and critical plant utilities.
- Oversee electrical distribution networks, substations, transformers, automation, instrumentation, and high-voltage systems.
- Supervise process safety, protection systems, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Drive health, safety, environmental, and risk management initiatives to foster a zero-harm culture.
- Manage departmental budgets, maintenance planning, shutdowns, projects, and spare parts strategies.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts, capital projects, innovation, and technology enhancement initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, asset performance, maintenance effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
Duties:
- Lead and develop electrical and instrumentation teams.
- Implement maintenance strategies and reliability programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and statutory standards.
- Oversee project execution and operational improvements.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
Requirements:
- BTech or BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current).
- Government Certificate of Competency (Factories).
- Completion of an Engineer-in-Training programme.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
- Proven experience in maintenance management, asset reliability, and condition-based monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, instrumentation design, troubleshooting, and automation.
Familiarity with the following:
- Reliability engineering practices.
- Process safety and statutory compliance.
- High-voltage systems and electrical distribution.
