Our client in the investment management sector is seeking a Senior Research Analyst - Mining & Beneficiation to provide specialist research, financial analysis, and investment insights in support of mining investment opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
Postgraduate qualification in Mining Engineering, Geology, Mineral Economics, Finance, Investment Management, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
4-6 years' experience in:
Mining investment analysis
Mining equity research
Mining corporate finance
Mining project evaluation
Mining and exploration due diligence
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
Sound understanding of commodity markets and mining economics.
Experience in investment research and financial analysis.
Bloomberg experience advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct mining sector and commodity market research.
Evaluate mining companies and exploration projects.
Perform technical, commercial, and investment due diligence.
Review mining financial models and valuations.
Support investment teams with transaction evaluations and investment recommendations.
