Job Title: Microsoft Certified Engineer – Security (Microsoft 365) Location: Africa (Onsite & Remote) Experience: 3–5 Years Job Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking a Microsoft Certified Engineer with a strong foundation in Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and identity solutions. The ideal candidate will hold the SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification and have practical experience supporting and implementing security controls across Microsoft 365 environments. Key Responsibilities: Support and administer Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and identity solutions. Implement and manage security features across Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview. Assist in configuring identity protection, access controls, and security baselines. Monitor security alerts, incidents, and compliance posture within Microsoft 365. Support data protection, information governance, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with infrastructure and Modern Work teams to ensure secure configurations. Assist in security documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide second- and third-level support for Microsoft 365 security-related issues. Required Qualifications & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration, security operations, or IT infrastructure roles. Required certification: SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (baseline) Understanding of Microsoft 365 security architecture and identity concepts. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, conditional access, and security policies.Requirements
Exposure to Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Defender for Endpoint.
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview (compliance, DLP, retention).
Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles.
ITIL or enterprise security operations experience.
