About the Opportunity

Medical Resources Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established healthcare organisation in Gauteng, for an experienced Communications Specialist to join their Brand, Marketing and Communications team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in developing and delivering professional, engaging and audience-focused communication and digital content that strengthens the organisation’s brand, supports strategic objectives and enhances engagement across various communication platforms.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.

• Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in communications, marketing, public relations, writing, editing, proofreading or content development.

• Experience developing and implementing content aligned with a communications strategy.

• Strong computer literacy, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, Outlook and Internet.

• Excellent English language and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategic, engaging and audience-centric digital content.

• Create and manage content across social media and digital communication channels.

• Support the implementation of communication and marketing strategies.

• Produce, edit and proofread professional communication material.

• Contribute to the organisation’s corporate communication initiatives.

• Ensure all communication aligns with corporate identity and brand guidelines.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist with communication projects and initiatives.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Apply effective problem-solving and project management skills.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental and organisational objectives.
