What’s on Offer?
Salary: R20,000.00 – R25,000.00 CTC PM (negotiable depending on experience and proven capabilities)
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent (after 3-month probation period)
Benefits: Standard company-aligned benefits and statutory contributions (Provident Fund compulsory contribution of 7.5% gross salary with an 8% employer contribution, annual December bonus, and 18 days annual leave)
Hours: Standard Hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, and Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00.
Environment: This is strictly a branch-based environment.
Flexibility: Overtime and operational flexibility will be required during peak trade periods, monthly stocktakes, and retail promotional campaigns (flexibility required during peak retail trade, promotional deadlines, and periodic stocktakes)

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Target Delivery: Actively drive counter and trade sales to meet and exceed monthly branch revenue and gross profit targets.
Customer Service & Parts Lookup: Provide walk-in, workshop, and trade customers with accurate vehicle parts identification, prompt quotations, invoicing, and expert technical advice.
Team Supervision & Support: Supervise, mentor, and support counter sales staff, warehouse teams, and drivers to maintain smooth daily branch workflows.
Inventory & Stock Management: Assist with stock control, regular perpetual stock counts, discrepancy investigations, receiving audits, and formal stocktakes.
Cash Management & POS Controls: Oversee point-of-sale cash-ups, card reconciliations, petty cash handling, and enforce strict branch security and loss-prevention measures.
Dispute Resolution & Customer Care: Swiftly and professionally resolve customer queries, return-for-credit requests, and warranty claims according to company policy.
Branch Administration: Support the Branch Manager with daily shift scheduling, opening and closing procedures, merchandising standards, and trade reporting.
Are You the Perfect Fit?
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on sales experience within the automotive parts aftermarket, spares wholesale, or automotive retail environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of automotive replacement parts, engine components, and electronic cataloguing lookup systems.
Software Proficiency: Practical computer literacy, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, MS Excel, and Outlook.
Licensing: Valid South African Driver’s License.
Core Attributes: Strong leadership and motivational skills, high attention to detail, commercial acumen, clear communication, and a target-driven mindset.
Beneficial Skills & Experience:
Prior supervisory, 2IC, or keyholder experience in a high-volume automotive parts branch.
Relevant tertiary certificate or diploma in retail management, sales, or business administration.
Established trade relationships with local mechanical workshops and fleets in the Pretoria West and Atteridgeville areas.

Valid Driver’s License.
Clear criminal record.
