Job Summary

Functional Head Security Management Services

Job Purpose: To manage security teams, oversee access control and surveillance infrastructure, and ensure strict compliance with applicable regulations

Appointment Requirements

Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Security Management (NQF Level 6).
Grade A PSiRA Certificate
At least five years’ relevant experience in supervisory role
A valid Code B driving license
Computer literacy
No criminal record.
No pending criminal cases (awaiting trial) or disciplinary cases.
Must be willing to undergo a vetting process as determined by the organisation

Primary Functions

Develop and implement comprehensive security, policies, and emergency response protocols to protect company assets, personnel, and infrastructure.
Oversee and manage the deployment and maintenance of physical security hardware, including CCTV networks, biometric access control systems, and alarm systems.
Recruit, train, and manage on-site security personnel, dispatchers, and external security contractors.
Ensure adherence to regional and national security frameworks (e.g., PSIRA guidelines in South Africa).
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to mitigate potential risks.
Lead investigations into security breaches, theft, or policy violations and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
