? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, conservation-led Big Five private game reserve in Limpopo for an experienced and results-driven ???? ?? ????? & ??????????? ? ?????? ???? – This is a sales-led role, not a traditional Lodge Management position. Only candidates with proven trade-sales experience in safari or luxury hospitality will be considered. Our client is a multi-lodge private game reserve offering a variety of lodge and camp experiences in one of South Africa’s most remarkable wilderness regions. With a capable, established operational team already in place, the owners are now looking for a senior, sales-led leader to take the reserve into its next phase of growth – lifting occupancy and revenue, and turning it into a name the travel trade and guests actively seek out. This is a rare opportunity to set the commercial direction of a growing reserve, with the backing of owners who are open to fresh ideas. Reporting directly to the owners and based on the reserve, the successful candidate will carry full accountability for occupancy and revenue across all lodges and camps. The role is weighted heavily towards sales, marketing and trade relations – driving the annual sales plan, setting rates, packages and seasonal specials, developing new products, securing and negotiating with tour operators, DMCs and agents both locally and abroad, hosting familiarisation trips, and representing the reserve at major local and international trade shows. The balance of the role involves overseeing lodge and reserve operations alongside the existing management team, safeguarding guest experience and standards, and reviewing financial performance with the owners. Frequent local and international travel is part of the position. ???????????? · Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior sales, revenue or commercial leadership role within the safari, lodge or luxury hospitality industry. · A demonstrable track record of increasing occupancy and revenue, supported by measurable results. · An established network of tour operators, DMCs and travel agents across southern Africa and key international source markets. · Previous experience representing a property or brand at international travel trade shows. · Proven hands-on trade-sales ability – actively prospecting, cold-calling, setting up meetings and following through until leads convert into bookings. · Experience planning and running marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email and trade channels. · Sound commercial judgement around rates, packaging, contracting and distribution channels. · Strong with numbers and comfortable using CRM and reservation systems to guide decision-making. · General management or lodge operations exposure will be a strong advantage. · Excellent written and verbal English; a second European language will be advantageous. · A proactive, self-motivated and target-driven individual who enjoys building business from the ground up. · A respectful, collaborative leader able to work alongside an experienced, established team. · A genuine passion for the bush and conservation, and comfortable living on a remote reserve. · Willing and able to travel frequently, both locally and internationally. ?????? – On application ? ?????? ???? – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required. Thank you.
