Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java (Spring) and Angular. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications, working across both backend and frontend technologies within a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring) and Angular
Build and consume RESTful APIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders
Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Technical Requirements (Essential)
Java (Spring Framework): Minimum 5 years’ experience
Angular: Minimum 3 years’ experience (strong hands-on capability required)
SQL: Solid experience in writing and optimizing queries
DevOps familiarity: Experience working with tools such as Bamboo, Nexus, or similar CI/CD tools
Technical Skills (Advantageous)
Experience with AWS cloud services
Docker / containerization experience
Exposure to modern DevOps practices and pipelines
Must be based in South Africa
Able to work in a hybrid environment
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
