Role Overview:
The Policy & Procedure Specialist is responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining internal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with local regulations, organizational strategy, and international best practices. This role plays a key part in promoting organizational consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain company-wide policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manuals
Conduct gap analyses and ensure alignment with relevant labor laws and regulatory frameworks
Collaborate with legal, HR, compliance, and operational departments
Facilitate policy awareness and training sessions across departments
Perform regular reviews and audits of existing policies and recommend updates
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Law, HR, or related field
5+ years’ experience in policy development or governance within a corporate or government environment
Strong knowledge of international and South African policy frameworks
Exceptional writing, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience working in the GCC or a multicultural environment
Arabic language skills (advantageous, not required)
