Requirements
- Matric.
- Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Finance, Business, Accounting or Administration (advantageous).
- Completed NCA.
- Mathematical and Excel skills (advantageous).
- Must have worked as a FNI Assistant in dealership.
- Min 2–4 years’ experience in F and I support, Automotive dealership administration, banking operations.
- Knowledge of Vehicle finance, insurance products, and regulatory requirements preferred.
- Code 8 license.
- Confident and proactive approach – anticipates issues and requirements.
- Read and write in English.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit vehicle finance and insurance applications with accurate supporting documentation.
- Track applications, follow up on conditions and payouts, and liaise with banks, insurers, lenders, and customers.
- Maintain deal trackers and provide daily/weekly status reports on applications and deal outcomes.
- Administer floor plan accounts and reconcile physical stock to system and financier reports.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to stock, invoices, and funding.
- Ensure vehicles are correctly funded, reflected, settled, and cleared within agreed timeframes.
- Monitor bank payouts and reconcile finance amounts to invoices and sales contracts.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and prepare management reports.
- Identify and prevent double funding, unfunded vehicles, late settlements, and interest leakage.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, finance regulations, insurance disclosures, and internal control policies.
- Perform quality checks on deal files and maintain accurate record keeping for audit purposes.
- Monitor and validate floor plan interest charges and identify opportunities to reduce interest exposure.
