Are you an Industrial Engineer who loves figuring out how things work, finding inefficiencies and turning messy data into meaningful insights?

We’re looking for a Junior Industrial Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing and supply chain environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact across the entire value chain.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your days buried in spreadsheets with no idea what happens on the factory floor. You'll get involved from raw materials arriving through production, work-in-progress, finished goods and ultimately dispatch, using data, process analysis and problem-solving to improve how the operation runs.

If you're analytical, curious, process-driven and constantly asking "Why are we doing it this way?", this could be the role for you.

Requirements

• BEng/BTech/BSc in Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
  
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing, FMCG or food production environment.
  
• Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems and production/stock reporting (Syspro experience not required).
  
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning); exposure to Power BI or similar BI tools advantageous.
  
• Understanding of end-to-end production and supply chain processes: receiving, production, WIP, warehousing and dispatch.
  
• Working knowledge of mass balance / yield reconciliation principles in a manufacturing environment.
  
• Valid driver's license and own transport, given multi-site travel requirements.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a systematic approach to root cause analysis.
  
• High attention to detail and a low tolerance for data inaccuracy.
  
• Process mapping and continuous improvement mindset, with a bias towards simplifying and automating work rather than adding to it; Lean or Six Sigma exposure advantageous.
  
• Clear communicator, able to work cross-functionally across procurement, production, food safety, maintenance, finance and warehousing, and hold data capturers to a consistent standard without direct authority over them.
  
• Self-starter, comfortable working independently and managing own time across multiple sites.
