Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join a dynamic team based at Head Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and end-user devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Set up and support workstations, printers, routers, and network-connected equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
- Create and manage user accounts, groups, and passwords within Active Directory.
- Support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and performance optimization.
- Monitor and verify daily backups and maintain backup records.
- Assist with network troubleshooting, including switches, access points, VOIP devices, and connectivity issues.
- Maintain accurate IT asset registers and inventory records.
- Document support activities, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up IT equipment and system access.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on IT projects and support activities.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar IT Support or IT Technician role.
- Proven experience providing technical support in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Experience with Active Directory administration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ will be advantageous.
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (completed or in progress).
- Basic programming knowledge will be advantageous.

Location
