About the Role
The Supply Chain Solutions Consultant sits at the intersection of logistics operations, technology, and client delivery. The role is responsible for leading new customer implementations and ensuring existing customers continue to extract value from implemented solutions.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role requiring close collaboration with clients, internal technical teams, and operational planners to embed solutions into real-world supply chain environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead new customer implementations, ensuring solutions are correctly configured, adopted, and embedded into operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for existing customers, managing relationships and driving continuous improvement.
Manage Distribution Planners and Expeditors, including workloads, outputs, billable time, and administration.
Deliver practical optimisation and strategic exercises such as fleet mix analysis, service day assignment, and customer-to-DC allocation.
Identify and implement improvement opportunities for existing customers.
Manage projects related to software roll-outs, enhancements, and managed services.
Facilitate regular progress and performance meetings with clients.
Liaise with technical, business analysis, and operational teams to define, test, and deploy system enhancements.
Resolve escalated client and operational issues.
Ensure administrative discipline, including expenses, claims, leave approvals, and adherence to billable hours.
Skills and Competencies

Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and how technology enables optimisation.

Ability to manage people and engage professionally with clients.
Confident communication and presentation skills.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Logistics, Transport, or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
