About the Role
As IOR Project Manager, you will engage with clients at the early stages of new requests, conduct detailed compliance reviews, and develop tailored commercial proposals for complex global shipments. You’ll work across multiple internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery, strong client satisfaction, and effective transition into service execution. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys solving logistical and compliance challenges while maintaining a polished client-facing presence.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare bespoke quotes and commercial proposals for new project requests
Conduct compliance reviews on new shipment requests, working with research, development, and external stakeholders
Manage the importation of supplies for global clinical trials
Coordinate internal support teams to ensure efficient and timely service delivery
Present tailored solutions and novel processes to meet client requirements
Oversee comprehensive project handovers to the service team or provide continued oversight where needed
Build and maintain relationships with an international client base
Conduct client calls to explain pre-compliance requirements and manage expectations
Manage key client projects, timelines, and escalation points
Prepare and present new projects to clients
Work across multiple internal teams to solve project and operational issues
What You’ll Bring
Professional qualification such as CA or Lawyer
Strong academic track record
Analytical mindset with strong numerical ability
Personable, adaptable, and client-focused communication style
Organised approach with the ability to coordinate multiple complex shipments
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
Creative problem-solving and research capability
Strong general business acumen
Nice to Have
Experience in medical logistics, clinical trials, or global trade compliance
Exposure to project-based quoting or RFP environments
Previous experience working with international clients and cross-functional teams
