Job Summary
Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in fruit cold storage? We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven individual who understands the demands of operating a fruit cold storage facility and can take ownership of daily operations.
This is a key role for someone who can work independently, make sound operational decisions and ensure that all activities run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fruit cold storage facility, ensuring efficient and effective running of all activities.
Manage operational processes, resources and staff to maintain productivity and service delivery.
Ensure appropriate storage conditions and handling procedures are maintained to protect fruit quality.
Monitor operational performance, identify challenges and implement practical solutions.
Coordinate workflows to ensure operational requirements and deadlines are met.
Maintain compliance with relevant operational procedures, quality standards and safety requirements.
Take accountability for operational decision-making and proactively address issues as they arise.
Work closely with management to support business objectives and maintain high operational standards.
Requirements:
Proven Operations Management experience within a fruit cold storage facility (essential)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transport
Direct experience in fruit cold storage is essential.
